{{Sword|rare|Dark Flow}} is a rare [[Swords|sword]] that is part of the "Dark" weapon series. It is a result of combining the rare [[Tools#Combination items|combination item]] {{Tool|rare|Parasitic Gene "Flow"}} with any common sword. It cannot make a combo attack.

Dark Flow has a unique special attack. Under normal circumstances, using a special attack will result in a heavy attack. If the character's current [[HP]] is at 12.5% of their maximum (or lower), however, the special attack will instead launch five projectiles in front of the character at a 45° angle. These projectiles have heavy attack power, heavy attack accuracy, and infinite vertical range. 

By standing directly next to an enemy, it is possible to hit the same enemy with all five projectiles. This makes Dark Flow extremely effective at killing many high HP enemies that would not be able to be killed quickly otherwise, as it is possible to reach over 1,000 damage per projectile with enough [[ATP]] or [[Attributes|attribute]] percentage.

==Reskins==
Dark Flow has Ephinea-exclusive [[Weapon hearts|cosmetic skins]] that can be obtained. This renames the Dark Flow to Dark Flow*. The skin can be removed via using {{Tool|rare|Neutralizer}}, but you will not receive the used weapon skin back.

Dark Flow can be created from using a {{Tool|rare|Parasitic Gene "Flow"}} with any fully-ground common sword equipped. The common sword equipped at the time of use will have its attributes transferred to the resulting Dark Flow.

This combination must be done on a Hunter with at least 971 ATP, and a certain level is required depending on the sword used.
