File:Frozen.pngFrozen is a status effect in PSO. It can be applied by:

Frozen Shooter and Snow Queen will also randomly freeze the player if equipped for too long.

Mechanics

Frozen, confusion, shock, and slow cannot affect the same player or enemy at the same time; if a player or enemy is inflicted with any of these statuses, they will lose any others they have.

Players

Players will be frozen for 5 seconds, but they can end the effect earlier by having Anti level 7 cast on them or by repeatedly moving left and right to break out early. Being frozen prevents players from moving, attacking, casting techniques, or using items. Players with a Cure/Freeze equipped are immune to being frozen.

Enemies

Enemies will be frozen for 5 seconds, and the effect cannot have its timer reset by reapplying it midway through the duration. Being frozen prevents enemies from moving or attacking. Epsilon, Zu, Pazuzu, Dorphon, Dorphon Eclair, Girtablulu, and all bosses are immune to being frozen.

Special attacks

Players and enemies can be frozen using the special attack from a Blizzard-series weapon. Provided the attack connects, each special has a different chance of success:

Rarity Special name Activation rate
1★ Ice 32%
2★ Frost 48%
3★ Freeze 64%
4★ Blizzard 80%

Frozen Shooter and Snow Queen have special mechanics with freezing targets; if the projectile from their special attack connects, it has a 100% chance to freeze any non-immune enemy.
