Virus Armor: Lafuteria is the end result of the Stink Frame combination series. It boasts the highest DFP armor for non-Androids, and also comes with an aesthetic effect.
Availability
Combination
Virus Armor: Lafuteria can be created from using a Parasitic Cell Type D with a Parasite Wear: Vajulla equipped.

In order to receive a max-stat Lafuteria, the base Stink Frame must have at least 90 DFP (+50/+85) and 35 EVP (+20/+85). After creating the Lafuteria, it will at first appear with minimum stats in your inventory. Changing blocks will make the correct stats appear.

The combination can only be made by a non-android who is level 156 or higher.
Baranz Launcher is a rare shot created from Parts of Baranz.

It is considered to be the strongest shot in the game due to its high ATP and sacrificial special, but it comes with a couple of drawbacks:
* It can only hit 4 targets instead of 5
* The projectiles move slower, allowing enemies to be more likely to evade them
Availability
Enemy Parts
Baranz Launcher is obtainable by giving Montague Parts of Baranz in the quest Dr. Osto's Research or Unsealed Door after completing Doc's Secret Plan.
Trivia
* Despite being named Baranz Launcher and being created from a Parts of Baranz, the colouring of the weapon matches the Garanz enemy. Oddly enough, there is a skin for a version which represents the colours of a Baranz (blue and orange colors) located in the game files. It is unknown why it was created and not used.
*Though Baranz Launcher has a high ATP potential, it is often passed up for similar weapons, such as Charge Arms, because of its susceptibility to miss due to manual evasion. This is where weapons with non-homing low projectile speed can miss because the target has moved far that its hitbox has moved away from the coordinates at which the projectile was fired.
ES Weapons, informally known as S-Rank Weapons or S-Ranks, are a special category of weapon which encompass all the weapon types and a few extras, such as the Needle. They have the visual of a basic weapon with a brown photon, and a unique color in the player's inventory. Unlike regular weapons, they have a few unique properties:
* Custom 8-character name (A-Z only)
* Cannot have any attributes
* Can have a custom special applied, which has no reduction regardless of weapon type.

All ES weapons are obtained from Challenge Mode by earning an S-Rank rating, which is done by clearing the Episode under 7 hours or 5 hours, depending on if you're playing Episode 1 or Episode 2, respectively.

Additional Information
ES Weapons cannot be equipped by Android classes if they have Spirit, Geist, or TP Recovery special added.

Despite having a rarity of 12 stars, ES Weapons are only worth 5 Team Points individually when donated.

To add specials to ES Weapons, you have to talk to Paganini in the quest The East Tower, and bring him the data from the terminal on the top floor of East Tower. Once you have this completed, you will have the option to "Modify ES Weapon" when talking to Paganini in the quest Gallon's Shop.

The list of specials that can be added to ES weapons can be found here. On Phantasy Star Online: Blue Burst, the specials are categorized into S, A, B, C and D-Ranks, which should not be confused with Challenge Mode rankings. Each rank costs a different amount of Photon Drops to have the special added.

* S Rank (60 Photon Drops): Jellen, Zalure (Approx. levels 17 and 21, respectively)
* A Rank (50 Photon Drops): Hell, Demon's, Arrest
* B Rank (40 Photon Drops): Spirit, Berserk, Chaos, King's, Geist, Gush
* C Rank (30 Photon Drops): Blizzard, Burning, Tempest
* D Rank (20 Photon Drops): HP-Revival, TP-Revival

Note that HP and TP revival refer to passive recovery.

Certain ES Weapons have a restricted set of specials available to them, these are Knuckle, Psychogun and Windmill.

Usage
ES Weapons are especially useful since specials added to them are unreduced regardless of weapon type. This gives them a much higher success rate or special power at inflicting special effects to multiple targets, or repeatedly inflict special effects to a single target, compared to most other weapons. They also fill in the weapon catalog, such as having a Needle-type weapon with specials other than Seize, or having a Partisan-type weapon with Hell.

Since the specials Berserk, Spirit and Charge are never reduced, non-rare counterparts, if they exist, are typical more powerful if they come with high hit% attribute. Certain rare weapons with unreduced specials will also be more powerful than the ES weapon of the same type and with the same special effect.
Trivia
* According to Paganini, ES Weapons were developed by the Principal.
* Using the data from East Tower, Paganini discovered a method to add Special Effect to ES Weapons with a certain amount of Photon Drops.
* ES Weapons cannot have attributes since the data for attribute were used to store the custom name.
