==Mechanics== ===Spawn=== Chaos Sorcerers generally target the nearest player within 250 units of their spawn point. However, if any Rangers are within 400 units of their spawn point, they will prioritize targeting the nearest Ranger inside that radius. For comparison, the largest, square repeated rooms in Ruins are roughly 350 by 350 units. ===Item drop=== For normal mode on Ephinea, item drops from Chaos Sorcerers will be placed at the monster's defined spawn point in the quest file, regardless of where the monster was killed. This change also affects item drops from Dorphon and Zu. The vanilla placement for item drops for all monsters was at the monster's death location according to the party leader's client. If this location was over a gap in the terrain or out of the bounds of the map, the client would not send an item drop request. ===Attacks=== A Chaos Sorcerer spawns with a pair of Bees flanking it, one for attacking and one for healing. After spawning, a Chaos Sorcerer will cycle through a rotation of techniques. This rotation consists of two offensive techniques, then Resta. Chaos Sorcerers remain stationary when casting, but between casts they will vanish and reappear in a different location. In Normal through Very Hard difficulties, a Chaos Sorcerer will cast Rafoie followed by Gibarta in Episode 1. In Episode 2, the order of offensive techniques is Gizonde followed by Gibarta. In Ultimate difficulty, a Gran Sorcerer will instead cast Grants and Megid. The right-hand Bee is used to cast offensive techniques, and the left-hand Bee is used for Resta. The Bees can be targeted and destroyed. Chaos Sorcerers themselves cannot be stunned or have their attacks interrupted. However, destroying the Bee it is using for casting will interrupt the technique it is casting (if any) and cause it to vanish. After a couple cycles of vanishing and reappearing, the Chaos Sorcerer will regain its destroyed Bees. {| style="width: 32.53%" | <tabber> Normal= {| class="wikitable sticky" |- class="sticky-main" !
