Black King Bar can be created by using a {{Tool|rare|Blue-black Stone}} with a fully-ground {{Sword|rare|Monkey King Bar}} equipped. The Monkey King Bar equipped at the time of use will have its attributes transferred to the resulting Black King Bar.

This combination must be done on a Hunter of at least level 100 with at least 800 ATP.

Black King Bar was available from the 2016 Anniversary Event from "The Hunter" for ten {{Tool|rare|1st Anniv. Gold Badge|1st Anniv. Gold Badges}}. Black King Bars from this source were granted three [[Weapon attributes|attributes]], ranging from 30-45%.

A Black King Bar with 40 [[Weapon attributes|Hit %]] could be obtained as a very rare item from a {{Tool|rare|Present (Christmas)}} during the 2023 ''Ephinea'' Christmas Event.
