==Area-specific information== ===Mine === Although neither Mine 1 or Mine 2 can roll pattern 4 for attributes naturally on Ultimate difficulty, this can be achieved by playing on [[Anguish]].<ref name=":1">[[Weapon attribute drop tables#Pattern selection|Weapon attribute drop tables]]</ref> However, because enemies on Anguish have increased stats, are more resistant to specials like [[Demon's]], and can only be frozen for 2 seconds instead of the regular 5, hunting common weapons in this area is less efficient. The following enemies in Mine have weapons as their set drop: *[[Gillchic|Gilchic]] (30% DAR) *[[Dubchic]] (30% DAR) *[[Sinow Beat|Sinow Blue]] (60% DAR) Due to the high natural Drop Anything Rate of Sinow Blue, players hunting common weapons are advised to play quests with high numbers of this enemy. Boxes in Mine 1 and Mine 2 have an 8% chance of containing a weapon.<ref name=":0" /> {| class="wikitable" style="text-align:center" |+ |Number of Weapons Found on average per run (no boosts) !Quest Name !Gilchic !Dubchic !Sinow Blue !Item Boxes !Weapon Boxes !Total Average |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Sweep-up Operation 3}} |5.7 |2.2 |3.8 |2.56 |0 |14.26 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Mop-up Operation 3}} |5.9 |0.9 |3.4 |3.36 |8 |21.56 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Endless Nightmare 3}} | 10.8 | 3.7 |9.6 |4.72 |6 |34.82 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Scarlet Realm 3}} |13 |4 |13 |0? |0? |30 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Lost SOUL BLADE}} |8.5 |1.7 |14 |6.4 | 19 |49.6 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Mine Offensive}} |3.8 |1.8 |5.2 |4.24 |10 |25.04 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Maximum Attack E: Mine}} |4.2 |1.2 |4.2 |0.64 |0 |10.24 |} === Ruins === All areas of Ruins have natural access to at least one 4th attribute pattern roll, with Ruins 1 having only 1 chance, Ruins 2 having 2 chances, and Ruins 3 having 3 chances.<ref name=":1" /> The following enemies in Ruins have weapons as their set drop: *[[Arlan]] (30% DAR) *[[Claw]] (30% DAR) *[[Merlan]] (35% DAR) Boxes in Ruins 1 have an 8% chance of containing a weapon, while boxes in Ruins 2 and Ruins 3 have a 9% chance of containing a weapon.<ref name=":0" /> {| class="wikitable" style="text-align:center" |+ Number of Weapons Found on average per run (no boosts) |- !Quest Name !Arlan !Claw !Bulclaw* !Merlan !Item Boxes !Weapon Boxes !Total Average |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Sweep-up Operation 4}} |4.5 |4.3 |(+3.2) |2.8 |2.97 |1 |15.57-18.77 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Mop-up Operation 4}} |3.5 |5 |0 |3.15 |1.28 |2 |14.93 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Endless Nightmare 4}} | 4.9 | 9 |(+2.4) |6.88 |7.52 |14 |42.3-44.7 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Scarlet Realm 4}} |7.2 |8.5 |(+5.6) |6.53 |0? | 0? |22.23-27.83 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Lost HELL PALLASCH}} |5.4 |8.7 |(+22) |2.33 |0.99 |0 |17.42-39.42 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|4-5:Dark Inheritance}} |11.1 |14.3 |(+2.4) |9.1 |12.43 |25 |71.93-74.33 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Fragments of a Memory}} |7.4 |23.7 |(+34.4) |10.85 |6.1 |6 |54.05-88.45 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|This Must Be The Place}} |7.8 |12.4 |(+19.2) |8.52 |7.51 |18 |54.23-73.43 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Road To Nowhere}} |7.8 |12.7 |(+19.6) |8.52 |7.87 |20 |56.89-76.49 |- | style="text-align:left"|{{Quest link|Maximum Attack E: Ruins}} |3.2 |2.4 |(+4.4) |3.85 |0.72 |0 |10.17-14.57 |} : Players can spawn an additional 4 claws for each [[Bulclaw]] they split, making Ruins a popular area for hunting common weapons. === Central Control Area === While only [[Seaside]] and [[Central Control Area]] have natural access to one 4th pattern attribute roll, playing on [[Anguish]] difficulty gives the player all 4th pattern attribute rolls in Jungle East, Mountain, Seaside, and Central Control Area.<ref name=":1" /> However, because enemies on Anguish have increased stats, are more resistant to specials like [[Hell]] and [[Demon's]], and can only be frozen for 2 seconds instead of the regular 5, hunting common weapons in this area is less efficient. For this reason, Seabed is one of the most popular areas for hunting common weapons. Seabed Upper also features the most efficient way to access a multitude of boxes. More information can be found in the [[box run|box run guide]]. The following enemies in Seabed have weapons as their set drop: * [[Recon]] (10% DAR)* *[[Dolmolm]] (30% DAR) *[[Sinow Zoa]] (30% DAR) *[[Dolmdarl]] (35% DAR) *[[Morfos]] (40% DAR) *[[Delbiter]] (80% DAR) Due to the high natural Drop Anything Rate of Delbiters, players hunting common weapons are advised to play quests with high numbers of this enemy. <nowiki>*</nowiki>Due to the low Drop Anything Rate of Recons, most players simply kill the [[Recobox|Recoboxes]] from which they spawn, making the contribution of Recons to the average number of weapons found per quest negligible. For this reason, Control Tower is less efficient for players looking to hunt commons weapons with high hit. The following enemies in Control Tower have weapons as their set drop: *[[Recon]] (10 DAR)* *[[Ill Gill]] (40 DAR) *[[Delbiter]] (80 DAR) Due to the high natural Drop Anything Rate of Delbiters, players hunting common weapons are advised to play quests with high numbers of this enemy. <nowiki>*</nowiki>Due to the low Drop Anything Rate of Recons, most players simply kill the [[Recobox|Recoboxes]] from which they spawn, making the contribution of Recons to the average number of weapons found per quest negligible. Despite having numerous enemies with weapons as their set drop, the numbers of each of these enemies that appear per quest is lower than other areas. In addition, enemies on Anguish are more resistant to specials like [[Hell]] and [[Demon's]], and can only be frozen for 2 seconds instead of the regular 5. Therefore, hunting common weapons in this area is less efficient. The following enemies in Crater have weapons as their set drop: *[[Boota]] (30 DAR) *[[Ze Boota]] (38 DAR) *[[Astark]] (85 DAR) *[[Dorphon]] (80 DAR) *[[Pazuzu]] (100 DAR)* *[[Dorphon Eclair]] (100 DAR)* <nowiki>*</nowiki>Due to the unlikely probability of sighting rare monsters such as Pazuzu and Dorphon Eclair and considering their naturally high Rare Drop Rate (RDR), they contribute minimally towards average numbers of common weapons found per run. For this reason, Desert is generally less efficient than other areas for hunting high hit common weapons. The following enemies in Desert have weapons as their set drop: * [[Goran]] (30 DAR) *[[Pyro Goran]] (35 DAR) *[[Pazuzu]] (100 DAR)* <nowiki>*</nowiki>Due to the unlikely probability of sighting a Pazuzu, and considering its naturally high Rare Drop Rate (RDR), it contributes minimally towards average numbers of common weapons found per run.
