{{Tool|rare|Heart of Flamberge}} is a [[Weapon hearts|weapon heart]] that changes the aesthetics of certain [[weapons]] into {{Sword|rare|Flamberge}}, while retaining the parameters of the original weapon. The skinned item can be reverted to its original form with a {{Tool|rare|Neutralizer}}. The heart will not be returned.

To apply the heart, equip a compatible piece of equipment, and use the heart in the inventory. A weapon that is skinned with Heart of Flamberge will have its name appended with an asterisk (*), and also have "Skin: Flamberge" in the item description.

A Heart of Flamberge applied to {{Sword|rare|Excalibur}} (and ''only'' Excalibur) can have its [[Photon Filter#Flamberge|photon color altered]] by equipping the skinned Excalibur and using a Photon Filter from the inventory. The Photon Filter will be consumed in the process.
