The below guide will advise on the best strategies on how to unseal the four different sealed items, which are Lame d'Argent, Limiter, Proof of Sword-Saint, and Sealed J-Sword.

The below guide will advise on the best strategies for unsealing the four different sealed items:
Techniques are advised for all sealed items, as they are able to attack quickly across large ranges, meaning more kills in a shorter amount of time, thus the optimal strategies use characters which are able to use techniques.

Techniques are advised for unsealing any item, as they are able to attack quickly across large ranges, meaning more kills in a shorter amount of time. Thus, the optimal strategies use characters which are able to use techniques.

Character and equipment
Requirements:
Lame d'Argent and Limiter
* 800+ ATP for unsealing Lame d'Argent
Limiter and Lame d'Argent are equippable by any , so the use of a Force is advised for unsealing these items. Optimally, FOnewm is recommended, as his high MST and boosts to normal and hard techniques means he can kill multiple enemies faster than the other Forces.
* Any frame with slots for unsealing Limiter

Recommended:
* FOnewm, though any Force is good
* High level (20+) Gifoie or Rafoie, depending on quest used. The higher, the better
* As much MST as possible

Requirements
Limiter and Lame d'Argent are equippable by any class (except FOnewearl in the case of Lame d'Argent), so the use of any Force is advised for unsealing these items. Optimally, FOnewm is recommended as his high MST and boost to Gi and Ra techs means he can kill various enemies faster than the other Forces.
* 800+ ATP to equip Lame d'Argent
* Any frame with slots for unsealing Limiter

Recommended
<big>Recommended equipment</big>
* FOnewm > FOmar > FOmarl > FOnewearl
* High level (20+) Gifoie (the higher the better)
* As much MST as possible

Equipment
* Weapon: Barehand (if male), Magical Piece or Psycho Wand (if FOmarl) - If unsealing Lame d'Argent, Lame d'Argent must be equipped so this can be ignored.
* Weapon: Barehand (if male) or rare (if female)
* Frame: Ignition Cloak
** If unsealing Lame d'Argent, Lame d'Argent must be equipped
* Barrier: Gifoie Merge or Rafoie Merge
* Frame: rare
* Units: V801, any Mind units if not max MST - Multiple Limiters can be unsealed at one time, this is preferable over more MST or V801.
* Barrier: rare
* Mag: Any mag with as much MIND as possible
* Units: rare, any Mind units if not max MST
** Multiple Limiters can be unsealed at one time--this is considered preferable over more MST or V801 if required
* Mag: Any mag with as much MIND as possible

Sealed J-Sword and Swordsman Lore
Proof of Sword-Saint and Sealed J-Sword
Both Sealed J-Sword and Swordsman Lore can only be equipped by Hunters, and thus must be unsealed by them. The most viable choice for this is HUnewearl, as HUmar's MST and technique caps fall short of effective offensive technique use. Androids, naturally, cannot use techniques, and thus cannot unseal effectively.

Requirements:
* HUnewearl
* 800+ ATP for unsealing Sealed J-Sword
* 800+ ATP for unsealing Sealed J-Sword
* Any frame with slots for unsealing Swordsman Lore
* Any frame with slots for unsealing Proof of Sword-Saint

Recommended
Recommended:
* HUnewearl > HUmar
* High level (16-20) Gifoie or Rafoie, depending on quest used. The higher, the better
* High level (16-20) n (the higher the better)
* As much MST as possible

Equipment
Proof of Sword-Saint and Sealed J-Sword can only be equipped by Hunters, so must be unsealed by them. The only viable choice for this is HUnewearl, as HUmar's MST and technique cap fall short of effective offensive technique use, and naturally the androids cannot unseal effectively as they do not have access to techniques.
* Weapon: rare

** If unsealing Sealed J-Sword, Sealed J-Sword must be equipped
<big>Recommended equipment</big>
* Frame: Any with slots

* Barrier: Gifoie Merge
* Weapon: Rika's Claw - If unsealing Sealed J-Sword, Sealed J-Sword must be equipped so this can be ignored.
* Units: V801, any Mind units if not max MST
* Frame: Any with slots
** Multiple Swordsman Lores can be unsealed at one time--this is considered preferable over more MST or V801 if required
* Barrier: Gifoie Merge or Rafoie Merge
* Mag: Any mag with as much MIND as possible.
* Units: V801, any Mind units if not max MST - Multiple Proof of Sword-Saint can be unsealed at one time, this is preferable over more MST or V801.

Both quests below should be played in Normal difficulty for fastest kill speed.
For all quests below, they should be played in normal difficulty for fastest kill speed.
Beyond the Horizon
Beyond the Horizon
Beyond the Horizon is the optimal quest for unsealing items. Beyond the Horizon will net the player roughly 5,000 kills per hour, including remaking and the quest beginning. This quest requires very little attention, as n can be used from the beginning of the quest until the end without moving.
Beyond the Horizon is the optimal quest for unsealing items. Beyond the Horizon will grant the user with roughly 5,000 kills per hour, including remaking and the quest beginning. # Repeat for area 2 (no movement is required at start).
# After the second area is cleared, use the <code>/lobby</code> chat command to return to the lobby
# After area 2 is complete, use /lobby to return to the lobby and repeat the process.

Repeating this process is 330 kills (and costs 10,000 meseta) per run, meaning each item will cost the following amount of meseta to unseal:
Each run is 330 kills, and also costs 10,000 meseta per run, meaning each item would cost the following amount of meseta to unseal:

* rare - 310,000 meseta
* Lame d'Argent - 310,000 meseta
* rare - 610,000 meseta
* Limiter - 610,000 meseta
* rare - 610,000 meseta
* Proof of Sword-Saint - 610,000 meseta
* rare - 700,000 meseta
* Sealed J-Sword - 700,000 meseta

CAL's Clock Challenge
Maximum Attack S
CAL's Clock Challenge, an Episode 2 extermination quest, can also be cleared with only n and minimal movement. It does not cost an entry fee, begins immediately in the VR Temple, and allows enemies to drop items. Resetting after the second area (Spaceship) will net 226 kills per run. The process for CAL's Clock Challenge is the same as Beyond the Horizon (though some additional movement is required to force some Pan Arms to become vulnerable in Spaceship). Ignoring the Pan Arms results in 200 kills.
As Beyond the Horizon costs meseta to play, Maximum Attack S is a viable alternative to unsealing, as it has a lot of enemies and does not cost any meseta to play. Maximum Attack S requires slightly higher attention, as the player must move around the room and manually target many enemies.

Sealed items
Both Episode 1 and 4 are viable for unsealing. There is no specific strategy other than using Gifoie and Rafoie as appropriate.
