[[TypeME/Mechgun]], sometimes referred to as '''Meme Mechs''' or '''Type Memes''', is a [[TypeM]] [[Mechguns|mechgun]] with a white photon barrel and a standard mechgun model. Compared to the standard mechguns, it has more ATP, ATA and grind, but cannot come with any attributes or special attack under normal circumstances.
[[TypeME/Mechgun]], sometimes referred to as '''Type Meme''' or '''Meme Mechs''', is the [[TypeM Weapons|TypeM]] version of the basic [[Mechgun]]. In its base form, it is considered strictly inferior to [[ES Mechgun]], due to its lower ATP and no special. Ephinea, however, features TypeM weapons with certain specials and Hit percentages; during various events, TypeME/Mechguns with Charge, Berserk and Spirit specials with 35-40% Hit have become available. These have an ATA boost equivalent to 48% Hit [[Vulcan|Vulcans]], and 40 extra average ATP when fully grinded. This makes these variants a popular alternative to [[Vulcan|Vulcans]] with sacrificial specials. Due to its high grind, TypeME/Mechgun becomes one of the highest hitting raw damage mechguns in the game when used with [[Photon Drop#Adding Attributes to Weapons|added attribute percentages]] and the available sacrificial specials.
 
However, a TypeME/Mechgun with 40% Hit and a sacrificial special is obtainable from various events on Ephinea. These variants are a popular choice of weapon due to having higher ATP than other sacrificial mechguns, allowing them to do more damage than other sacrificial mechguns on successful special attacks. In many scenarios, this weapon outperforms even very high hit sacrificial mechguns, but the lower relative ATA means this weapon can struggle against higher EVP enemies.
