{{Sword|rare|Lavis Cannon}} is a rare [[Sabers|saber]], and one of the rarest in the game. It is the first weapon of the Lavis series. 

Its special attack is a piercing wave in front of the character, which costs the user 5% of their max HP and {{Note|Its damage multiplier is 0.5 compared to a light attack's multiplier of 0.9|deals 0.56x light damage}}.

In spite of its rarity, Lavis Cannon is outclassed by {{Sword|rare|Excalibur}}, which is more easily obtained, has a [[Weapons#Sacrificial damage increase|Berserk]] special, and can hit up to three targets.

==Combinations==
Equipping Lavis Cannon and using a {{Tool|rare|Syncesta}} will consume the Syncesta and turn this weapon into {{Sword|rare|Lavis Blade}}. The attributes from the equipped Lavis Cannon will transfer to the resulting Lavis Blade.

This combination must be performed on a [[Hunter]] of level 100 or higher with at least 850 [[ATP]].

Lavis Cannon can be created by using a {{Tool|rare|Syncesta}} with {{Sword|rare|Double Cannon}} equipped. The attributes from the equipped Double Cannon will transfer to the resulting Lavis Cannon.

This combination must be performed on a Hunter of level 100 or higher with at least 900 ATP.

==Trivia==
* Lavis Cannon is considered an iconic weapon in the Phantasy Star franchise, first appearing in Phantasy Star Online and subsequently appearing in nearly every game since.
* In previous versions of the game, there was a glitch that gave this weapon's special attack normal accuracy and hard power while it was untekked.
