Mags are a necessity for all characters, giving them a huge amount of extra stats, access to photon blasts, and certain utility through mag triggers.

When starting out, Mags will seem complicated, but feeding one and getting what you want is actually very easy! This guide will explain how to make a simple power mag (45-50+ POW, 45-50+ DEX) and a simple mind mag (45-50+ DEX, 45-50+ MIND) with 3 photon blasts and 4th evolution, including Mylla & Youlla for the power mag.

Simple power mag

Ideal for all Hunters and all Rangers.
  1. Feed your mag Antidotes until it evolves at level 10. It will turn into a Varuna, Kalki, or Vritra, depending on which class evolves it. It will gain the photon blast Farlla.png Farlla, Estlla.png Estlla, or Leilla.png Leilla.
  2. Feed your mag Antidotes until it evolves at level 35. It will turn into a Marutah, Mitra, or Ashvinau, depending on which mag it evolves from. It will also gain the photon blast Pilla.png Pilla.
  3. Feed your mag Antidotes (Marutah or Ashvinau) or Antiparalysis (Mitra) until level 49.
  4. Pass your mag to a Hunter with ViridiaSkylyPurplenumRedriaYellowboze section ID or a Ranger with GreenillBluefullPinkalOranWhitill section ID, then feed it antidotes/antiparalysis until it evolves at 50. It will gain the photon blast Mylla & Youlla.png Mylla & Youlla.
  5. From this point on, feed your mag dimates until you reach 45 POW, and then feed it antidotes/antiparalysis (whichever increases DEX only) until you reach 45 DEX.
  6. Once your mag has reached 5 DEF, 45 POW, and 45 DEX (5/45/45/0), choose one of the below mags and follow the steps to evolve it at level 100.

Your mag will now be either 5/50/45/0 or 5/45/50/0 depending on which mag you have chosen. Now, you just have to level it to 200 by feeding it how you wish to raise the stats:

  • POW: Dimate
  • DEX: Antidote/antiparalysis (varies, check which gives pure DEX)
  • MIND: Difluid

If you are unsure as to what stat make up your final mag should be, you should only raise POW until the Mag reaches level 200 - for example 145 or 150 POW, with 50 or 45 DEX.

Simple mind mag

Ideal for all Forces.

If you're wondering why DEX is included on this mag, it is because using certain weapons for their special attacks are extremely useful on Force where Techniques are not, and having more ATA helps with this.

  1. Feed your mag Antiparalysis until it evolves at level 10. It will turn into a Varuna, Kalki, or Vritra, depending on which class evolves it. It will gain the photon blast Farlla.png Farlla, Estlla.png Estlla, or Leilla.png Leilla.
  2. Feed your mag Antiparalysis until it evolves at level 35. It will turn into a Marutah, Mitra, or Ashvinau, depending on which mag it evolves from. It will also gain the photon blast Pilla.png Pilla.
  3. Feed your mag Antiparalysis until level 49.
  4. Pass your mag to a Hunter or Ranger with GreenillBluefullPinkalOranWhitill section ID, then feed it antiparalysis until it evolves at 50. It will turn into Yaksa (on HU) or Varaha (on RA) and gain the photon blast Golla.png Golla.
  5. From this point on, feed your mag difluids until you reach 45 MIND, and then feed it antidotes/antiparalysis (whichever increases DEX only) until you reach 45 DEX.
  6. Once your mag has reached 5 DEF, 45 MIND, and 45 DEX (5/0/45/45), choose one of the below mags and follow the steps to evolve it at level 100.

Your mag will now be either 5/0/45/50 or 5/0/50/45 depending on which mag you have chosen. Now, you just have to level it to 200 by feeding it how you wish to raise the stats:

  • POW: Dimate
  • DEX: Antidote/antiparalysis (varies, check which gives pure DEX)
  • MIND: Difluid

If you are unsure as to what you want your final mag to be, continue raising MIND only until the Mag is level 200.
