Vol Opt

Vol Opt is the boss located in Control Area at the end of the Mine area. It will confine you to a rather small control room that he encompasses with several parts.

First Form Damage Glitch:

If using a technique on Vol Opt's screens, the technique will deal damage to the screens normally, but will also deal additional damage to Vol Opt's core for each screen hit upon flinching, using the physical damage formula:

D = (ATP-DFP)/5

ATP is ranged normally. Multipliers for light/hard/special attacks are not included. Multipliers for technique boosts are not included. DFP of Vol Opt's core is used. Note that this only applies to techniques damaging Vol Opt's screens and not his core otherwise, as technique damage to the core will deal damage normally.

For any physical attack damaging Vol Opt's screens, the damage will be done to the screens normally. The additional damage dealt to the core upon flinching will follow the following equation:

D = (ATP-DFP)/5

ATP is ranged normally. Multipliers for light/hard/special attacks are not included (notable). DFP of core is used.

Any additional damage dealt to Vol Opt's core when hitting his pillars is dealt normally. Only the damage dealt to the core, through the screens and upon flinching, is modified.
