- This article is about the status effect. For the weapon special, see Shock.
Shock is a status effect in PSO. It can be applied by:
- casting Zonde, Gizonde, or Razonde,
- a special attack from a Tempest-series weapon,
- any of a Canadine's attacks,
- Gol Dragon's projectile or breath attack,
- either of Gal Gryphon's lightning attacks,
- a yellow Epsigard attack,
- a ground trap in Central Control Area, Seabed, or Control Tower
Mechanics
Shock, confusion, frozen, and slow cannot affect the same player or monster at the same time; if a player or monster is inflicted with any of these statuses, they will lose any others they have.
Players
Shock lasts for 10 seconds, but they can dispel the effect earlier with a Sol Atomizer, a healing ring, or by having Anti level 2 cast on them. Shock prevents players from attacking or casting techniques, but not using moving or using items. Players with a Cure/Shock equipped are immune to shock.
Monsters
Shock lasts for 10 seconds. Shock prevents monsters from moving or attacking. Only Machine-type monsters can be shocked. Bosses and Epsilon are immune to shock.
