{{Shield|rare|Red Ring}} is a rare [[Barriers|barrier]] that is considered to be the best barrier in the game. It is equippable by all classes, provides passive HP and TP regeneration, and gives a +20 boost to all stats along with a strong set of resistances.

It is notorious for being the most difficult barrier to obtain, only dropping from [[Dark Falz]] at a low drop rate.

==Reskins==
Red Ring has several Ephinea-exclusive cosmetic skins that can be obtained. This renames the Red Ring to Red Ring*. 

Red Ring's cosmetic skins come in two distinct styles:
* [[Tools#Ring_Paints|Ring paints]], obtained from event drops or the [[Quests|quest]] {{Quest link|Anniversary Badge Shop}}, which simply re-color Red Ring to the colour specified by the paint.
* [[Tools#Ring_platings|Ring platings]], obtained exclusively from the quest {{Quest link|The Forge}}, which change the aesthetic effect of Red Ring entirely to that of another barrier specified by the plating (ex. {{Shield|rare|From the Depths}} or {{Shield|rare|Safety Heart}}).

Both kinds of skin can be removed via using {{Tool|rare|Red Paint}}, but you will not receive the used skin back.
