Ephinea is a Phantasy Star Online Blue Burst private server.

Differences from vanilla

• Various drop table changes
• Individual item drops
  • Enemy and box drops are not visible to other players. This feature can be turned off.
• Experience share
  • Players will gain experience points from nearby slain enemies as if they'd tagged those enemies, without having to tag them. This feature can be turned off.
• Freezing special attack buff
  • The maximum activation chance of freezing special attacks was increased from 20% to 40% on Ultimate difficulty and from 40% to 80% on lower difficulties.
• The number of invincibility frames players receive after getting hit have been increased in one-player mode to match the GameCube version of the game.
• Changes to vanilla items
  • Clio can be equipped by HUnewearls.
  • Galatine is not affected by beat time.
  • Some items that had limited availability in vanilla are now available as rare drops from enemies and can therefore be obtained with attribute percentages.

  • Players can use the /bank chat command to switch to a bank that is shared between all characters on the account.
• Extended character slots
  • Players can create up to 32 characters on a single account by either using the /cbank command or by using the drop-down menu in the top-right corner of the launcher.
• Full dressing room
  • Any cosmetic aspect of your character can be modified in the dressing room. Access to the dressing room is gained by being a member of a team that has the dressing room feature unlocked.
• Static Tool shop
  • The tool shop will always have all mates, fluids and atomizers in stock.
  • However, the tool shop will never have 'grinders or Scape Dolls in stock.
• Highlighting items on the minimap
  • Rare items and Scape Dolls are displayed on the minimap with red and green dots, respectively.
• Rare drop notifications
  • A chime plays when a rare item is dropped by an enemy or a box. Additionally an onscreen notification will display for each member of the party.
• Ragol Boost Road
• Daily Luck
  • A small boost to rare drop rate is granted to a random character class and gender combination that changes daily.
• Leaderboards
• Sandbox mode
  • An account-wide modifier that can be enabled when creating an account. In this mode you can instantly level up to 200 and spawn in items.
• Anguish
  • Anguish is an optional difficulty that boosts the stats and drop rates of Ultimate enemies.

  • Players can change the music in lobbies by using the Jukebox option at the lobby counter.
