Behavior/Mechanics

Like Mericarol, Merikle, Mericus, Gi Gue, Olga Flow (Form 2) and Girtablulu, Gibbles does not take increased damage from weapon attribute.

Gibbles share a unique targeting mechanism with Delsabers. Both monsters have a parameter configurable in their initialization data that determines which of their player targeting prioritizations to use when they are searching for a target (target searching does not occur while attacking or within melee range of a player). The prioritization follows these values:

Target searching considers players within 250 units. The radius for activating a Gibbles spawn is smaller than this target search radius, which can cause them to sometimes have a significantly delayed spawn until their target is within range.

Qedit has a default of 0 for this parameter in the Gibbles initialization data. This means most Gibbles in practice will prioritize male characters when searching for a target.
