< Sealed items

The below guide will advise on the best strategies on how to unseal the four different sealed items, which are Lame d'Argent, Limiter, Proof of Sword-Saint, and Sealed J-Sword.

Techniques are advised for all sealed items, as they are able to attack quickly across large ranges, meaning more kills in a shorter amount of time, thus the optimal strategies use characters which are able to use techniques.

Character and equipment

Limiter and Lame d'Argent

Requirements:

  • 800+ ATP for unsealing Lame d'Argent
  • Any frame with slots for unsealing Limiter

Recommended:

  • FOnewm, though any Force is good
  • High level (20+) Gifoie or Rafoie, depending on quest used. The higher, the better
  • As much MST as possible

Limiter and Lame d'Argent are equippable by any class (except FOnewearl in the case of Lame d'Argent), so the use of any Force is advised for unsealing these items. Optimally, FOnewm is recommended as his high MST and boost to Gi and Ra techs means he can kill various enemies faster than the other Forces.

Recommended equipment

  • Weapon: Barehand (if male), Magical Piece or Psycho Wand (if FOmarl) - If unsealing Lame d'Argent, Lame d'Argent must be equipped so this can be ignored.
  • Frame: Ignition Cloak
  • Barrier: Gifoie Merge or Rafoie Merge
  • Units: V801, any Mind units if not max MST - Multiple Limiters can be unsealed at one time, this is preferable over more MST or V801.
  • Mag: Any mag with as much MIND as possible

Proof of Sword-Saint and Sealed J-Sword

Requirements:

  • HUnewearl
  • 800+ ATP for unsealing Sealed J-Sword
  • Any frame with slots for unsealing Proof of Sword-Saint

Recommended:

  • High level (16-20) Gifoie or Rafoie, depending on quest used. The higher, the better
  • As much MST as possible

Proof of Sword-Saint and Sealed J-Sword can only be equipped by Hunters, so must be unsealed by them. The only viable choice for this is HUnewearl, as HUmar's MST and technique cap fall short of effective offensive technique use, and naturally the androids cannot unseal effectively as they do not have access to techniques.

Recommended equipment

  • Weapon: Rika's Claw - If unsealing Sealed J-Sword, Sealed J-Sword must be equipped so this can be ignored.
  • Frame: Any with slots
  • Barrier: Gifoie Merge or Rafoie Merge
  • Units: V801, any Mind units if not max MST - Multiple Proof of Sword-Saint can be unsealed at one time, this is preferable over more MST or V801.
  • Mag: Any mag with as much MIND as possible.

Quest

For all quests below, they should be played in normal difficulty for fastest kill speed.

Beyond the Horizon

Beyond the Horizon is the optimal quest for unsealing items. Beyond the Horizon will grant the user with roughly 5,000 kills per hour, including remaking and the quest beginning. This quest requires very little attention, as Gifoie can be used from the beginning of the quest until the end without moving.

  1. Begin the quest and talk to the guard outside the Hunters Guild to begin.
  2. Move to the middle of the first area and use Gifoie until clear.
  3. Repeat for area 2 (no movement is required at start).
  4. After area 2 is complete, use /lobby to return to the lobby and repeat the process.

Each run is 330 kills, and also costs 10,000 meseta per run, meaning each item would cost the following amount of meseta to unseal:

Maximum Attack S

As Beyond the Horizon costs meseta to play, Maximum Attack S is a viable alternative to unsealing, as it has a lot of enemies and does not cost any meseta to play. Maximum Attack S requires slightly higher attention, as the player must move around the room and manually target many enemies.

Both Episode 1 and 4 are viable for unsealing. There is no specific strategy other than using Gifoie and Rafoie as appropriate.
