Overview
The Anniversary event is an event which features badge currency drops as well as exclusive limited-time shorter-form versions of the Maximum Attack E quests.

During the course of this event, four different types of badges can drop:
* rare (All Difficulties)
* rare (Very Hard and Ultimate)
* rare (Ultimate Only)
* rare (Ultimate Only, extremely rare)
The higher the difficulty, the more common the badge drops. These badges can drop anywhere; they are not exclusive to the event quest series.

All badge drops are also independent of any drop rate modifications (save for specific badge rate increases granted by the Anniversary event), and cannot be obtained from item boxes or Rappies that are scared away instead of killed.

These badges can be spent at the Anniversary Badge Shop.

In the Anniversary Badge Shop, Bronze and Silver badges may be "up-traded" into Silver and Gold badges (respectively), such that:
* 10 Bronze Badges = 1 Silver Badge
* 10 Silver Badges = 1 Gold Badge

It is not possible to up-trade badges for a Platinum badge.

The Anniversary event is a yearly recurring event on Ephinea, featuring the Maximum Attack E series of quests (event-exclusive shorter-form versions of the Maximum Attack E quests), the availability of Anniversary Badges, and the Anniversary milestone system, which rewards the community various rate boosts depending on the playerbase's performance.

It takes place sometime in August, and lasts for four weeks.

During this event, all kills made in Ultimate difficulty regardless of quest or lack thereof are tallied up and added to a cumulative kill counter to unlock boosts. Any boosts applied function everywhere, not only in the event quests.

Players can see their own individual kill counters by speaking to the Guide NPC in the Hunter's Guild in the Anniversary Badge Shop.

Anniversary Badge Shop

Main article: Quest icon.pngAnniversary Badge Shop

During this event, any badges found can be traded for various items at the Anniversary Badge Shop. There are a total of seven different NPCs to trade with, and all request different types of badges for their services.

The Anniversary Badge Shop remains available even after the event's conclusion, and badges may still be traded for items if a player has them.

In the Anniversary Badge Shop, Bronze and Silver badges may be "up-traded" into Silver and Gold badges (respectively), such that:

 • 10 Bronze Badges = 1 Silver Badge
 • 10 Silver Badges = 1 Gold Badge

It is not possible to up-trade badges for a Platinum badge.
