- In-game description

Mercurius Rod is a rod with the highest weapon-based Grants boost in the game, and Gifoie as its special attack.

Despite being weak in range and damage, the Gifoie special is situationally useful to interrupt mobs (e.g. Dorphon/Delbiter charges, Zu dives, etc). It also excels at Slime-splitting (use the special attack as the 3rd combo) if TP is low / Rabarta is unavailable, as the low damage prevents the Slimes from being destroyed early.
