Behavior/Mechanics

Epsilon targets a single player with a laser for a few seconds, then attacks that player with an explosion. This explosion deals 1465 fire damage in multiplayer mode in Ultimate difficulty, with the damage percentage scaling down based on the player's EFR stat. An EFR of 50 will reduce it by 50%, down to 732 damage.

When Epsilon spawns, its lights and shields will choose one of four colors randomly; every time it finishes an Epsigard attack cycle, it will cycle to the next color in the order below. Each color has an associated elemental damage type that will be used for the Epsigard attack, which does 322 damage of that damage type.

• Red: Fire
• Blue: Ice (inflicts Freeze)
• Yellow: Lightning (inflicts Shock)
• Purple: Dark (will instantly kill the player)

On Ultimate difficulty, red and blue Epsigards will both continuously damage the player regardless of their max HP, while yellow Epsigards behave normally and knock the player down if they deal more than 25% of their HP in damage. The purple Epsigard attack be resisted if a character has between 1261 and 1360 EDK, with 1360 EDK guaranteeing immunity, but this is impossible to reach legitimately.

*Elemental Attack is the Damage number Multiply by [(100 - Your Resistance)/100]. Example: Gizonde deals 136 Damage x [(100-20)/100]= 108.8 which PSO always rounds down. So in this case it deals 108 damage if you have 20 ETH.
