Mechanics

Claws attack in large groups, but are only a threat if they surround their target. After attacking with their pointy beak, they will float slowly away, then turn around and engage another attack. At distance, they will rise up to a higher altitude while moving toward their target, but will descend once near.

Claws have an annoying amount of invulnerability frames, becoming unattackable briefly after attacking, being attacked, and while descending from their cruising altitude. Because of this, it can be difficult to land a 3-hit combo on them.
