The following quests are recommended for hunting this enemy:

- [Extermination] Mop-up Operation #3: Clear first room (1)
- [VR] Mine Offensive: Clear 2 rooms (2)
- [Event] Maximum Attack E: Mines: Clear Quest (4)
Mechanics[edit | edit source]
Cananes only appear in the center of a ring of Canadines. Once they have spawned, they will rise up into the air and blink rapidly, issuing orders to the Canadines. Two of the Canadines will then move toward nearby targets, engaging with their Zonde attack. After these Canadines attack twice, the Canane will issue more orders, causing the Canadines to drop down and engage in melee, then the Canane will teleport away.
If the Canane is destroyed before it can escape, the remaining Canadines will engage their self-destruct mode, moving rapidly toward any nearby targets and exploding.
While in the air, Cananes cannot be frozen.
