Monkey King Bar is a rare double saber that is the precursor to the upgraded Black King Bar.

Despite Black King Bar being the strongest double saber in the game, it is also popular to keep Monkey King Bar as-is, as at high enough hit % values its multi-hitting Devil's special attack can be utilized effectively by rangers. It is also the second-strongest double saber that male rangers can equip, with the first being Girasole, and females being able to equip the stronger-still Vivienne.

Combinations

Equipping Monkey King Bar and using a Blue-black Stone will consume the Blue-black Stone and turn this weapon into Black King Bar. The attributes from the equipped Monkey King Bar will transfer to the resulting Black King Bar.

This combination must be performed by a Hunter of level 100 or higher with at least 800 ATP.
