Black King Bar is a rare double saber. It is the result of combining the rare combination item Blue-black Stone with the rare double saber Monkey King Bar. It is the strongest double saber in the game.

Black King Bar can be created by using a Blue-black Stone with a fully-ground Monkey King Bar equipped. The Monkey King Bar equipped at the time of use will have its attributes transferred to the resulting Black King Bar.

This combination must be done on a Hunter of at least level 100 with at least 800 ATP.

Event

Black King Bar was available from the 2016 Anniversary Event from "The Hunter" for ten 1st Anniv. Gold Badges. Black King Bars from this source were granted three attributes, ranging from 30-45%.

A Black King Bar with 40 Hit % could be obtained as a very rare item from a Present (Christmas) during the 2023 Ephinea Christmas Event.

• This weapon is a reference to Ruyi Jingu Bang, a magical staff wielded by Sun Wukong, also known as the Monkey King.
• Black King Bar appears in later Phantasy Star titles as a weapon called "Ebony Nyoibo."
