Monkey King Bar is a rare double saber. It can be turned into the rare double saber Black King Bar with the use of the rare combination item Blue-black Stone.
Despite Black King Bar being the strongest double saber in the game, it is also popular to keep Monkey King Bar as-is, as at high enough hit % values its multi-hitting Devil's special attack can be utilized effectively by Rangers. It is also the second-strongest double saber that male rangers can equip, with the first being Girasole, and females being able to equip the stronger-still Vivienne.
