Information
This quest is only playable in Ultimate difficulty.
The Chronocide Trial series of quests involves a mechanic where the room gets progressively darker as the players runs out of time. The time remaining is directly linked to the darkness of the room.
Players start with 2 minutes, and will receive time bonuses for clearing specific rooms. These time bonuses vary based on how many players are currently in the game.
When players run out of time, everything freezes, and after 5 seconds the players may choose to return to Pioneer 2 or stay so they can pick up loot. After this point, they are then given the option of using the quest board to exit to Pioneer 2.
