Branching Quest Line
This quest is part of a quest line starting with Dr. Osto's Research. Any choices made in the quest are permanent and cannot be changed after the quest is completed for the first time on that difficulty, even if the quest is replayed after completing all side stories on that difficulty. As such, it may be more beneficial to complete Dr. Osto's Research first.
Soul Eater quest plot
- Dr. Osto's Research Don't tell Sue your name.
- Unsealed Door Talk to Sue, then talk to Bernie.
- Waterfall Tears Fight Kireek.
- Black Paper Fight Kireek.
- During From the Depths (quest) progress the quest as per normal until Ash tells you to go back to Pioneer 2. Go back to Pioneer 2 and then back to Ruins 2 to find Kireek in a room with an unconscious Ash. Defeat him to obtain the Soul Eater.
