Smartlink

Smartlink is a rare unit that removes the accuracy penalty that Hunters and Forces incur when using ranged attacks (which includes Slicers and Cards).
The ranged accuracy penalty is a reduction to the chance to hit, which is subtracted from the final chance to hit. For example, if a player's chance to hit is 50%, and the ranged accuracy penalty is calculated at 30%, the final chance to hit will be 20%. The accuracy penalty without Smartlink equipped is 0.33% per unit of distance; refer to the table below for some common penalties at max ranges of certain weapon types.
Rangers lack this penalty as a trait inherent to their class, and thus do not need (nor can they equip) this unit.
This unit is considered a staple for all Hunters and Forces who use any ranged weapon, as without this unit, their chance to hit when using ranged weapons is significantly worse.
