Branching Quest Line
This quest is part of a quest line starting with Dr. Osto's Research. Any choices made in the quest are permanent and cannot be changed after the quest is completed for the first time on that difficulty, even if the quest is replayed after completing all side stories on that difficulty. As such, it may be more beneficial to complete Dr. Osto's Research first.
- If you did not tell Sue your name in Dr. Osto's Research and defeated Kireek in Waterfall Tears, he can be fought a second time in this quest in a dark room in Cave 1, located in the SE corner of the map.
- If you told Sue your name, you must find and talk to Bernie again after talking to him in Waterfall Tears.
