Penumbral Surge #4 (PS4) is the fourth installment of the Penumbral Surge series, and the second portion to take place in a CCA location. PS4 has a lap mechanic that allows the Central Control Area map to be entirely used, while supplying the time of a full length quest. At the end of each lap, players visit one of the three islands to complete that lap. The quest is completed when all three islands are visited and cleared.
PS4 has a warp console at the starting zone of the map. When a player reaches an island, this warp console can be used to warp them to that island. When an island is cleared, all players can warp to that island, even if it was never visited.
