Gallon will sell a number of items, as well as wrap certain items into a Present, for 10,000
Meseta each.
Alternatively, Gallon offers these services with a payment of 30 "Gallon Points", earned at the minigame terminals near him.
A third option of spending Gallon Points appears if you speak with him while holding 300 or more Gallon Points.

Most items, such as weapons, frames/armors and barriers/shields, can be wrapped.
Some items, such as consumables and units, cannot be wrapped.
By default, Gallon will only offer one kind of wrapping paper.
There are more...
If you have any presents of a different color than those you can wrap, showing them to a man looking at Ragol (XZ: 320, -165) outside the shop will unlock alternative wrapping paper.
Note: Your present will not be lost in the process.

By having 300 or more points, Gallon will give you the option to buy "????" which awards a barrier according to your class. These barriers are particularly useful to new characters who are just entering Very Hard as they require level 41 to equip and provide helpful stats along with moderate defenses to its respective class.
Note: You can only buy your class wall once per character.
There are two terminals that offer mini-games, along with a Guild Card Reader terminal, which award "Gallon Points". These points can be exchanged to have an item wrapped up in a gift box or to earn prizes. There is also a fourth terminal, the Lucky Roulette, which will be covered in the next section.
This game involves mashing the action button as many times as possible in 10 seconds. You will be awarded a number of points based on your performance.

A fourth terminal, located inside Gallon's Shop, allows one to play the Lucky Roulette.
To participate, Lucky Coins are required, which can be gotten from
Phantasmal World #1, #2, #3 and #4.
Lucky Coins can be stored for up to a maximum of 100 Lucky Coins, after which quests will not give you any more until you use some to bring you below the cap.
Each Lucky Coin gives one roll on the roulette. The item received is dependent on the space that is landed on.

By bringing a minimum number of
Photon Drops to Hopkins (XZ: 90, -220) at a different part of Pioneer 2 during this quest, he will take you to Paganini to exchange them for one of a selection of items depending on the number brought.
WARNING: Only carry the minimum amount of Photon Drops needed in your inventory, as Paganini will take all of them for the trade.
You will be asked to confirm the exchange multiple times before it is finalized.
This exchange is notable for, among other things, the
Photon Sphere that allows you a more cost-effective and faster option of adding attributes to weapons, as a Photon Sphere adds 30% to a non-hit attribute (so long as the attribute is 70% or less) instead of, for example, spending 100 Photon Drops to add only 25% to that attribute.

If the player brings Paganini the data from the terminal at the top of
The East Tower, the "Modify ES Weapon" option will be available for the character that completes this sidequest, though it can be completed on any difficulty. (Paganini will no longer be accessible in this quest for that character once you have done this, and Hopkins will only state that, "My father is working on a huge project right now.", as an alternative method of checking completion.)
- Start the East Tower quest
- Talk to Hopkins in the lab (he is in the same place you would find him in
Gallon's Shop for accessing "Modify ES Weapon" after sidequest completion)
- Kill Epsilon at the top floor of Control Tower, then interact with the terminal (you will receive a Quest Board item).
- Upon killing Epsilon, player teleporters (via
Telepipe or
Ryuker) can no longer be created, and any that are active will be turned off. The gate in the Lab leading to the Central Control Area will also become locked. If you use the provided teleporter before interacting with the terminal, you will be forced to redo the quest to properly complete the sidequest.
- After clearing the quest, make sure to talk to Hopkins again before handing in the quest at the Hunters Guild.
This allows the player to add a special attack to their ES weapon, with the available specials depending on the number of PDs in the player's inventory and the ES Weapon in question.

ES Psychogun can only receive HP Revival and TP Revival, and
ES Windmill can only receive HP Revival, Jellen, TP Revival, and Zalure.

As a prerequisite, first the player's character must collect the
East Tower data for Paganini (see adding specials to ES weapons for directions).
Then if that character also brings Paganini the data from the terminal in Seabed during
The West Tower quest, the "Enhance weapon's Photon" option will be available for the character that completes this sidequest, though it can be completed on any difficulty. (Unlike East Tower, there is no easy way to check through Hopkins if you have already completed the West Tower sidequest, as Hopkins in this quest will say the same "My father is working on a huge project right now." line, both before completing the previous sidequest as well as after completing this one.)
- Start the West Tower quest after having completed the East Tower sidequest
- Talk to Hopkins in the lab (he is in the same place you would find him in
Gallon's Shop for accessing "Enhance weapon's Photon" after sidequest completion)
- Traverse the Seabed Upper levels until you find and access the terminal containing the Research Data (you will receive a Quest Board item).
- Unlike the previous sidequest, you do not have to continue onto the Control Tower to complete this sidequest. Simply access the terminal and then
Telepipe or
Ryuker back to Pioneer 2.
- Return to the lab and talk to Hopkins before ending the quest
This allows the player to add and boost attribute percentages on their weapons for a set amount of PDs, at 4 PD per 1%, or 20 PDs per 5% on an attribute. A Photon Sphere can also be used to add 30% to an attribute, but only if the attribute in question is at or below 70%. There are some restrictions to adding attributes:

Photon Hoard
By speaking with a man wearing military garb (XZ: -110, 145) within the room next to the quest counter, one can convert 99 Photon Drops into a Photon Hoard and vice versa.
You must speak with them twice in a quest sitting, while also holding at least one of either a Photon Drop or Photon Hoard, in order to activate this feature.
Note: In order to break a Photon Hoard down into a stack of Photon Drops, you must not be carrying any Photon Drops beforehand.
Normally, one could only purchase a
Class Wall by having 300 to 310 Gallon Points. On Ephinea, however, it is possible to purchase one while having more than 310 points.
Photon Hoards do not exist in normal gameplay, as they and their purpose of supplementing Photon Drops are unique to Ephinea, added in an update on June 16th, 2019.
