Bonus Spawns

Guide (Spoilers)

The bonus spawn is five Pan Arms. The quest must be completed before they can be spawned.

• 

  1. Once the quest is complete, return to the beginning of Cave 3 (leaving a Telepipe here is common). The rock is now targetable and can be destroyed.

• 

  2. Past the rock is a room with many boxes behind a laser fence. The fence switch is after the extra Pan Arms.

• 

  3. In this box room, stand in the southwest corner and activate an invisible switch to open the eastern door.

• 

  4. In newly-unlocked room to the east, two doors must be unlocked.

• 

  5. Move to the southeast corner of the room to unlock the north door.

• 

  6. In the north room, fire at the ceiling to open the east door in the previous room.

• 

  7. Five Pan Arms will spawn in this room. Defeating them unlocks the south door, which contains the switch for the box room laser fence, allowing the items to be accessed.
