Soul Eater is obtainable in the quest From the Depths after defeating the Black Hound after following the necessary steps in the previous One Person quests.

These steps are:

• In Dr. Osto's Research, the player must not tell Sue their name at the end.
• Then in Unsealed Door, the player must speak with Sue before finishing the quest, who is located near the end of Mine 2.
• Then in Waterfall Tears, the player must fight with Kireek after defeating Anna, who is located north of Anna's location.
• Then in Black Paper, the player must fight with Kireek, located in a dark room in Cave 1.
• Then in From the Depths, the player must fight with Kireek, who is located in Ruins 2 after finishing up with Ash.
