DF Shield is a rare barrier. It is notable for only being available as a drop from Dark Falz. It comes with an aesthetic effect.
DF Shield has a 25% chance of inflicting 
Confusion, 
Freeze, 
Slow, and/or 
Paralysis on the player if it remains equipped for five minutes. Being on Pioneer 2 will not stop the timer, though it will prevent one from being afflicted.
