DF Shield

DF Shield is a rare barrier. It is notable for only being available as a drop from Dark Falz. It comes with an aesthetic effect.
DF Shield has a 25% chance of inflicting 
Confusion, 
Freeze, 
Slow, and/or 
Paralysis on the player if it remains equipped for five minutes. Being on Pioneer 2 will not stop the timer, though it will prevent one from being afflicted. The timer will reset after reaching five minutes regardless. Importantly, the timer will reset and does not count if the barrier is unequipped.
