Melee[edit | edit source]
It is recommended to use a strong single-target weapon to quickly destroy the nest before it spawns extra Mothmants. If necessary, use a wide-range weapon such as Slicers or Swords to attack the nest and any Mothmants at the same time.
Ranged[edit | edit source]
Spread weapons, such as Shots or Spread Needle, are ideal for controlling the Mothmants while doing damage to the nest.
Techniques[edit | edit source]
Monests can be defeated quickly on spawn by pre-emptive Gifoie stacks.
If this is not possible, Monests are weak to lightning in Episode 1, and Fire/Dark in Episode 2. Mothmants are weak to lightning in Episode 1, and Ice/Dark in Episode 2.
