Crimson Coat is a rare frame that offers bonuses when equipped with three of the "Red" weapon series. It is considered a strictly superior version of Red Coat.
It is popular for pairing with 
Red Saber, as Red Saber boosted by Crimson Coat has more effective ATP than even Excalibur, making it a very good tool for killing Vol Opt on FOnewearl by exploiting his first form damage glitch.
