Mercurius Rod is a rare rod. It offers the highest weapon-based
Grants boost in the game, and casts level 2
Gifoie as its special attack.
Despite being weak in range and damage, Mercurius Rod's special attack is useful for multiple reasons:
- Interrupting certain enemies' attacks (e.g. initial Dorphon/Delbiter charges, Zu dives, etc)
- Splitting Pofuilly Slimes can easily be done by using the special attack as the 3rd attack of a combo, as the special attack will not deal enough damage to kill them too early
