Baranz Launcher is a rare shot that is the result of converting the enemy part Parts of Baranz.
It is widely considered to be the strongest shot in the game due to its high ATP and Charge special, as well as the ability to (semi-) reliably add Hit % to it, however it has a few drawbacks:
- It can only hit four targets instead of five
- The projectiles move slower, making it less reliable on faster-moving enemies due to manual evasion
Hit can be added to this weapon by exchanging Photon Crystals with Dr. Montague in the quest Claire's Deal 5 (after completing a sidequest in 9-5:The Chosen (1/2)), to a maximum of 50.
Availability[edit | edit source]
Enemy Parts[edit | edit source]
Baranz Launcher is obtainable by giving Montague a Parts of Baranz in the quest Dr. Osto's Research or Unsealed Door after completing Doc's Secret Plan.
Notes[edit | edit source]
- "Manual evasion" refers to a target moving far enough away from its initial position that its hitbox has moved away from the coordinates at which the projectile was fired, causing the projectiles to miss.
Trivia[edit | edit source]
- Despite being named Baranz Launcher and being created from a Parts of Baranz, the colouring of the weapon matches the Garanz enemy. Strangely, there is a skin for a version which represents the colours of a Baranz (blue and orange colors) located in the game files. It is unknown why it was created and not used.
