RAcaseal is an android Ranger, with the 2nd lowest ATP and ATA of all the rangers. Unfortunately, for all intents and purposes, she is a significantly weaker copy of RAcast, with her only notable benefit being 7 extra ATA over him. In comparison, she has significantly less ATP and has the worst freeze trap growth in the game.
However, RAcaseal is still a strong character in her own right, as her access to the ranger arsenal alongside her android paralysis boost makes her extremely powerful at crowd control, and she is still able to do respectable damage providing there is a source of Shifta. However, in solo play, RAcaseal struggles without very powerful gear in areas that cannot be dealt with using instant kill specials, as her low ATP makes it difficult to do respectable damage.
Pros and cons
Pros
- Ranger arsenal - With options such as Frozen Shooter, ES Needle, Heaven Striker, and sacrificial Arms, rangers have options for every situation.
- Access to traps - The most powerful crowd control tool in the game.
- 2nd highest HP in the game - Able to withstand many more attacks than others, with most dangerous sources of damage being set damage attacks.
Cons
- Very weak solo - Outside of areas such as Spaceship, RAcaseal can struggle alone as her low ATP and low ATP on ranger weapons makes it difficult for her to do damage
- Identical to RAcast - RAcaseal does not offer any notable benefits over RAcast from a gameplay perspective, playing identical to RAcast but doing significantly less damage
Section ID choice
Note that the section ID choices below are merely suggestions, and are not required to have on your RAcaseal. All IDs are good in different ways, and it is up to the player which ID they would like depending on what items they'd like to hunt. If you are unsure as to what ID you would want, the below are recommended depending on what sort of ID you would prefer.
Finding items for RAcaseal
Greenill or Purplenum
Greenill and Purplenum have access to many core Ranger items, offering mostly the same items between them. They both get Heaven Striker, Frozen Shooter, V502, with Greenill finding V101, Red Ring and Cannon Rouge, with Purplenum finding M&A60 Vise and increased chance of finding mechguns, important for sacrificial Vulcans.
Finding items that RAcaseal hunts well
Bluefull
Rangers are incredibly good everywhere, but especially in Episode 2, where Bluefull has a very powerful Seabed, which includes Yunchang, Zanba, Psycho Wand, and Parasitic Gene "Flow". On top of this, Bluefull can hunt Limiter very well from Astarks, which is an easy hunt for Rangers as well. Heaven Striker also makes an appearance in Episode 1 from Del-Ds.
Skyly
Similarly to Bluefull, Skyly has many good items and hunts in Episode 2, where Ranger shines in comparison to other classes. While Skyly is usually thought of as a Hunter ID, Rangers will have an easier time hunting many of the core Skyly items, which include Heaven Punisher, Sealed J-Sword, Monkey King Bar, Vivienne, Daylight Scar, and Guren. On top of this, Lame d'Argent can be found from Dorphons, which is a very useful item for all classes, but especially Rangers.
General good ID
Whitill
Whitill is a powerful ID that gets many coveted and valued items in almost every area in the game. Whitill is the most unrestrictive ID, giving players the freedom to play any content and still have the chance of scoring something big, in contrast to more restrictive IDs such as Bluefull, which focus players into certain areas. Whitill finds many good items such as V502, Heaven Striker, Diska of Braveman, Frozen Shooter, Slicer of Fanatic, and more!
Material and mag plans
Important Stats Only - Maxes important stats as early as possible. Recommended for levelling.
Min-Max - Maxes as many character specific stats as possible by level 200 using the minimum number of slot units. Recommended at level 200.
Max Stats - Attempts to max all stats at level 200. Ignores any sort of equipment efficiency. Not recommended.
