FOnewm is one of the four Force classes. He is considered the strongest Force for technique usage, as he has high MST and receives boosts to both Normal techniques and Hard techniques, making his AoE technique power slightly above FOnewearl's superior MST with no AoE technique boosts, above FOmar's inferior MST but identically boosted Normal techniques, far above FOmar's Hard techniques, and far above all of FOmarl's AoE techniques.
FOnewm is notable for several advantages over the other three Forces from an optimization standpoint. However, this should not deter players from playing any of the other Forces for comfort, variety, aesthetics, or otherwise. Each Force's toolkit covers the basic roles of a Force, while the unique weapon arsenal available to each Force leads to distinct varied and unique weapon playstyles, with players often finding one the most comfortable, interesting, fun, or preferred for various reasons.
FOnewm reaches the highest potential damage for
Gifoie,
Gizonde,
Rafoie,
Razonde, and
Rabarta, meets ATP requirements for both
Excalibur and
ES J-Cutter /
ES Slicer (which FOnewearl fails to meet), and meets ATA requirements for
ES Mechgun (which FOmar and FOmarl fail to meet). The most notable potential shortcoming for FOnewm in terms of optimization is failing to meet the ATP requirement for
Galatine, along with a general moderate ATP deficit compared to FOmar causing a notable decrease in potential potency with
Diska of Braveman,
M&A60 Vise, other sacrificial Mechguns, or Handguns.
FOnewm casts techniques slightly more quickly when unarmed or equipped with Fist weapons, allowing for further minor optimizations if a situation does not immediately benefit from a technique-boosting weapon.
- While FOnewm's potential is very high, his low material limit and high stat caps lead him to struggle with maxing all of his important stats simultaneously while leveling, needing a Simple MIND Mag to maximize his MST and ideally swapping to a Simple POW Mag to help maximize his ATP and ATA when weaponry is more useful. Even at level 200 he requires both
Adept and
V101 to help him maximize his ATP, ATA, and MST simultaneously without additional stat-boosting units.
FOnewm is recommended for players who want the most optimal offensive Force, or for players who wish to play a primarily technique-focused character with the ability to fit into another role if necessary.
- All four Forces are effectively equivalent in their primary role of strengthening and weakening technique support to a party by supplying
Shifta/
Deband level 30 (range supplemented via
Striker of Chao if needed) and
Jellen/
Zalure level 30 (range supplemented via
Glide Divine if needed). They are also all similar in effectiveness with accuracy glitching
Slicer of Fanatic, a large component of a Force's most effective weapon contribution in multiplayer Ultimate difficulty parties in areas where technique damage is weak.
