Accuracy glitch
The accuracy glitch (commonly referred to as the "SNS glitch", or simply "SNS") is a glitch that the accuracy of attacks in a combo. This glitch differs slightly when used on either a ranged or melee attack.
When used on a ranged attack if a second or third attack in a combo has begun, and the previous attack has not hit the target, the previous attack's accuracy will be updated to have the accuracy modifier of the following attack.
When used on a melee attack, if a second or third attack in a combo has begun, and the previous attack has not hit the target, the previous attack's accuracy will not be updated to have the accuracy modifier of the following attack like a ranged attack. Instead the combo step of the following attack will be applied to the previous attack.
This glitch is most easily achieved with projectile-based weapons, such as slicers and handguns. While it can be performed with certain melee weapons as well, it is much harder to achieve.
Examples[edit | edit source]
- If a player uses a special attack with their slicer, and then uses a normal attack before the special attack connects with any enemy, the special attack will have the accuracy modifier of the second normal attack, greatly increasing the chance of the special attack connecting.
- If a player uses a special attack with their double saber, which consists of two hits, and then uses a normal attack before the second hit of their special attack connects. The second hit of their special attack will gain the accuracy of being a second combo step, but as mentioned above, will not be updated to have the accuracy modifier of the normal attack.
