Ragol Boost Road (frequently referred to as simply "RBR") is a weekly re-occurring feature which highlights one quest in each of Episodes 1, 2, and 4 (choosing from a predetermined list), granting the party various rate boosts while playing them. Quests in the Ragol Boost Road are automatically changed weekly on Sunday, 00:00 UTC.
While playing a featured quest, players will receive up to +25% drop anything rate, rare drop rate, and experience rate. These boosts can stack with all other boosts, including the weekly rotating boost and boosts from events. Unlike the weekly rotating boosts, Ragol Boost Road quests do not offer a bonus to the appearance rate of rare monsters.
Players can check the featured quest list at the lobby counter under "Statistics," or view it anywhere by using the chat command /rbr
to display a scrolling banner across the top of the screen.
Quests that normally have a timer will have their timer disabled while featured in a Ragol Boost Road.
Quest selection
One quest per episode is selected each week from a predefined list (See Eligible quests below).
Quests from each episode will only be selected again once all other quests from that episode have been selected once in a rotation. This means the same quest can repeat back to back at the end and beginning of two different rotations, but not twice during the same rotation.
Because the quest count for each episode differs, it is possible to see a repeat quest for one episode before seeing a repeat quest for another episode. This is especially common for Episode 4, which only has a total of 14 eligible quests.
The quests eligible for Ragol Boost Road are those which are deemed to be less popular or less efficient in general, which serves to increase the variety of quests being played.
Eligible quests
Boosts
Depending on the number of players in the party, players will receive drop rate, rare rate, and experience rate boosts during the Ragol Boost Road quests only. The maximum amount of boosts are +25% for each of these rates.
Player count | Rate boosts |
---|---|
1 | 15% |
2 | 20% |
3 | 25% |
4 |
A resource that displays items and drop rates for all Section IDs can be found on this spreadsheet. It allows manual input on current drop boosts, which will update the rates on all Ragol Boost Road quests. Additionally, it calculates the per-run drop rates, which is the chance of finding a drop on a full quest clear.
Trivia
