Once the roll for a tier from the '''Prize Odds''' table is successful, the game then determines the prize from that tier based on a '''weighting system'''. This system depends on the ''item star rarity''. In general, the higher the item star rarity, the lower the chance of receiving it as a prize from gambling.  The exact rates are included in the individual item pages.

Step by step explanation of the columns:
*'''Star rarity''': The item star rarity can be looked up on each individual item page. Items without any rarity (more specifically red box [[Tools]] like {{Tool|rare|Tablet}}) are assigned with a 5★ rarity.
*'''Weight''': each entry is calculated with the formula <code>13 - ''Star rarity''</code>.
**''Note: The number <code>13</code> can be explained in the following way: <code>13</code> is one integer above <code>12</code>, which is the highest star rarity an item could have. This way 12★ items would have a weighting of <code>1</code> (even though Coren doesn't have 12★ prizes).
*'''Total weight''': the total weight is just the sum of the '''Weight''' column.
*'''Rates''': the rates can now be calculated with the general formula <code>Prize Odds * Weight / Total Weight</code>. For {{Unit|rare|Cure/Slow}} with a 10k Meseta gamble, the rate would be <code>6% (10k Meseta Prize Odds) * 4 (Cure/Slow weight) / 25 (Total weight) = 1/104.17</code>.

The formula shows that the weighting has a strong positive influence on the rates. They're strongly shifted towards items that have no rarity (weighting of '''8'''), which in relation to the other weights is much higher. Another deciding factor is the total items available in a prize pool, which would increase the total weight. Larger total weights heavily decrease the rates in the formula.

Coren, also known as The Wandering Tekker, is an NPC that appears outside of the shopping district in Pioneer 2 and allows players to gamble Meseta icon.pngMeseta for a chance at winning various prizes. The available prizes vary depending on the day of the week (based on UTC, visible in-game with the /time chat command) and amount gambled.

Note that Coren only appears in games set to normal mode, and will not appear if the game is set to One Person mode. Any prizes won will come with no attributes and minimum stats.

Prize Odds
Meseta Tier 1 Tier 2 Tier 3
1,000 4% - -
10,000 6% 4% -
100,000 8% 6% 4%

Once the roll for a tier from the Prize Odds table is successful, the game then determines the prize from that tier based on a weighting system. This system depends on the item star rarity. In general, the higher the item star rarity, the lower the chance of receiving it as a prize from gambling. The exact rates are included in the individual item pages.

Note: Items with no star rarity (like Tool icon.pngTablet) have the highest weighting and are therefore the most likely prize to win.
More details

The method to arrive at the precise rates is explained in the following table for the Wednesday Tier 1 prizes:

Wednesday Tier 1 Prizes
Prize Star rarity Weight Total weight Rates 1k Meseta Rates 10k Meseta Rates 100k Meseta
Unit icon.pngGod/Legs 11 2 25 1/312.50 1/208.33 1/156.25
Unit icon.pngHero/Ability 10 3 25 1/208.33 1/138.89 1/104.17
Unit icon.pngTP/Revival 9 4 25 1/156.25 1/104.17 1/78.13
Unit icon.pngDevil/Battle 9 4 25 1/156.25 1/104.17 1/78.13
Unit icon.pngCure/Slow 9 4 25 1/156.25 1/104.17 1/78.13
Tool icon.pngTablet 5 8 25 1/78.13 1/52.08 1/39.06

Step by step explanation of the columns:

  • Star rarity: The item star rarity can be looked up on each individual item page. Items without any rarity (more specifically red box Tools like Tool icon.pngTablet) are assigned with a 5★ rarity.
  • Weight: each entry is calculated with the formula 13 - Star rarity.
    • Note: The number 13 can be explained in the following way: 13 is one integer above 12, which is the highest star rarity an item could have. This way 12★ items would have a weighting of 1 (even though Coren doesn't have 12★ prizes).
  • Total weight: the total weight is just the sum of the Weight column.
  • Rates: the rates can now be calculated with the general formula Prize Odds * Weight / Total Weight. For Unit icon.pngCure/Slow with a 10k Meseta gamble, the rate would be 6% (10k Meseta Prize Odds) * 4 (Cure/Slow weight) / 25 (Total weight) = 1/104.17.

The formula shows that the weighting has a strong positive influence on the rates. They're strongly shifted towards items that have no rarity (weighting of 8), which in relation to the other weights is much higher. Another deciding factor is the total items available in a prize pool, which would increase the total weight. Larger total weights heavily decrease the rates in the formula.
