Rangers have the largest toolbox for any situation and can easily fit themselves into almost every team composition.

Rangers have access to easily use weapon specials. Special attacks on ES weapons are unreduced, enabling the use of powerful multi-hit or multi-target weapons like Gun icon.pngES Needle, Gun icon.pngES Shot and Gun icon.pngES Mechgun. Combined with the highest ATA in the game, Rangers are the best classes for utilizing weapon specials.
