- This isn't exactly a quest... I just want to invite all you hunters to my shop. Those of you looking for a change... welcome.

Gallon's Shop and Gallon Points
|
Gallon will sell a number of items, as well as wrap certain items into a Present, for 10,000 meseta each.
Alternatively, Gallon offers these services with a payment of 30 "Gallon Points", earned at the minigame terminals near him.
A third option of spending Gallon Points appears if you speak with him while holding 300 or more Gallon Points.
Wrapping Presents
Most items, such as weapons, frames/armors and barriers/shields, can be wrapped.
Some items, such as consumables and units, cannot be wrapped.
By default, Gallon will only offer one kind of wrapping paper. There are more...
If you have any presents of a different color than those you can wrap, showing them to a man looking at Ragol outside the shop will unlock alternative wrapping paper.
Note: Your present will not be lost in the process.

Class Walls
By having 300 or more points, Gallon will give you the option to buy "????" which awards a barrier according to your class. These barriers are particularly useful to new characters who are just entering Very Hard as they require level 41 to equip and provide helpful stats along with moderate defenses to its respective class.
Note: You can only buy your class wall once per character.
Minigame Terminals
There are two terminals that offer mini-games, along with a Guild Card Reader terminal, which award points (sometimes called "Gallon Points"). These points can be exchanged to have an item wrapped up in a gift box or to earn prizes. There is also a fourth terminal, the Lucky Roulette, which will be covered in the next section.
Button-Mashing Game
This game involves mashing the action button as many times as possible in 10 seconds. You will be awarded a number of points based on your performance.
# of Button Presses | Reward |
---|---|
30 to 49 | 1 Gallon Point |
50 to 69 | 2 Gallon Points |
70 to 89 | 3 Gallon Points |
90 to 99 | 4 Gallon Points |
100 or more | 5 Gallon Points |
Timing Game
This game involves trying to perfectly time when 8 seconds has elapsed. The more precise your timing, the more points are awarded.
Reaction Difference | Reward |
---|---|
0.50 to 0.26 seconds | 1 Gallon Point |
0.25 to 0.11 seconds | 3 Gallon Points |
0.10 to 0.01 seconds | 5 Gallon Points |
0.00 seconds | 10 Gallon Points |
Guild Card Reader
By having a minimum number of Guild Cards in your possession, the Guild Card Reader will give you a number of Gallon Points matching that minimum number.
# of Guild Cards | Reward |
---|---|
10 to 29 | 10 Gallon Points |
30 to 49 | 30 Gallon Points |
50 to 99 | 50 Gallon Points |
100 or more | 100 Gallon Points |
Lucky Roulette
|
To participate, Lucky Coins are required, which can be gotten from Phantasmal World #1, #2, #3 and #4.
Lucky Coins can be stored for up to a maximum of 100 Lucky Coins, after which quests will not give you any more until you use some to bring you below the cap.
Each Lucky Coin gives one roll on the roulette. The item received is dependent on the space that is landed on.
Chance | Person | Item gained |
---|---|---|
40% | Boy | 50% Star Atomizer, 50% Sol Atomizer |
30% | Natasha | 50% TP Material, 50% HP Material |

10% | Paganini | Gods Shield "Seiryu" (Once) Gods Shield "Genbu" (Once) Photon Drop |
5% | Gallon | Monomate |
3% | Nol | Random rare weapon |
The random rare weapon received is based on the current class:
The rare weapon will be untekked and have a random amount of hit attribute. All other attributes will be 0%.
Chance | Hit |
---|---|
10% | 0 |
35% | 10 |
35% | 20 |

Paganini's Exchange
By bringing a minimum number of Photon Drops to Hopkins (XZ: 90, -220) at a different part of Pioneer 2 during this quest, he will take you to Paganini to exchange them for one of a selection of items depending on the number brought.
WARNING: Only carry the minimum amount of Photon Drops needed in your inventory, as Paganini will take all of them for the trade.
You will be asked to confirm the exchange multiple times before it is finalized.
This exchange is notable for, among other things, the Photon Sphere that allows you a more cost-effective and faster option of adding attributes to weapons, as a Photon Sphere adds 30% to a non-hit attribute (so long as the attribute is 70% or less) instead of, for example, spending 100 Photon Drops to add only 25% to that attribute.

Photon Hoard
|
Photon Hoard (commonly abbreviated as "PH") is an item that is equivalent to 99 Photon Drops, allowing the ability to store and carry more Photon Drops than normally capable.
Usage
Prior to the introduction of Photon Hoards, storing and making trades using large amounts of Photon Drops was complicated by the issue of only being able to hold or trade one stack of 99 Photon Drops at a time.
Photon Hoards thus allow for easier management of Photon Drops without having to store them separately in multiple banks (or by irreversibly converting stacks of Photon Drops into Photon Spheres), as Photon Drops have multiple other uses.
Availability
- Main article: Gallon's Shop
In Gallon's Shop, by speaking with a man wearing military garb (XZ: -110, 145) within the room next to the quest counter, one can convert 99 Photon Drops into a Photon Hoard and vice versa.
You must speak with them twice in a quest sitting, while also holding at least one of either a Photon Drop or Photon Hoard, in order to activate this feature.
Note: In order to break a Photon Hoard down into a stack of Photon Drops, you must not be carrying any Photon Drops beforehand.
Trivia
Photon Hoards do not exist in normal gameplay, as they and their feature to supplement Photon Drops are unique to Ephinea, added in an update on June 16th, 2019.
